Parties, dinners, kids camps or just a nice place for an office meeting -- our farmhouse can be rented for occasions with up to 50 people, and includes two bedrooms for overnights, both indoor and outdoor kitchens and ample breakout space with shade, views and welcome farmyard diversions. Fair Earth Farm is a literally out-of-the-box venue for your gathering needs (wifi included, plus decent video screening space).
The idea of the business is pretty simple. A really natural farm is a beautiful place and the food is really good. The economy doesn't usually reward small good beautiful farms, but it could. Farmers who sell produce by the kilo are having trouble surviving. 7 baht for a kilo of rice!? Forget it. But a fair price for a plate of fried heritage rice and paddy duck egg omelet with an herbal smoothie? Right off the farm? That can work.
At Fair Earth Farm, we care for the land, animals and plants in ways that you value. You reward this care by spending a bit of time and money on the farm to enjoy the place and food. Maybe your visit is about agriculture. And if so, you can spend the day(s) verifying our claim that this way of growing food and raising animals is real, humane, safe, healthy and some say beautiful.
But maybe your visit has nothing to do with farming. That's fine. You don't have to look too long or hard to see if this is what you mean when you think "natural" or "organic." And by enjoying the place and eating the food, you're telling us, "keep it up." (The economy isn't usually saying that to small farmers.)
Disclaimer: An acre (.5 ha; 3 rai) can feed more people than we think, but it is still an acre. For large groups, we buy produce from farmers we know and respect. This is a good opportunity for you and us to support small farmers. You can visit them, hear about the food they grew for you. Every meal has a story. Our stories are good.
